About me:

I started sewing when I was about twelve years old, mostly dresses for my dolls. When I was about 24 years old I bought my first own sewing machine. Over the last years I sewed nearly everything a family needs. Especially the wishes of my two kids for carnival often are a real challenge.

My passion is sewing vintage clothing, starting in the 18th century, passing regency and the romantic era, ending about 1900, with special interest on period corsetry.

I live in a small town in Austria with my husband and my two kids. Unfortunately there are very few possibilities wearing my costumes.

With my own label “Black Snail Patterns”, I wish to share my patterns and Ideas with you all over the world.
